01Why we started
We carried the work. The rat race kept asking for more.
Between the five of us, we’ve spent our careers inside banks, software teams, and delivery projects: writing the requirements, building the systems, and keeping them running when they broke. We were good at it, and we carried a lot of it. Late nights before a release, weekends before an audit, long commutes, and longer meetings.
But the rat race doesn’t reward carrying more. Every deadline we met made room for a tighter one. And the problems friends and clients kept bringing us stayed on the list: a contract no one could explain without a lawyer, a property value no one could trace, payroll that took HR days every cutoff, a founder with an idea and no co‑founder. We were doing our best on someone else’s roadmap, and there were never enough hours to get to them.
Then AI changed the math. The reading, sorting, drafting, and checking that used to eat our days could finally go to software, and five founders can now build in weeks what used to take a department and a year. So we stepped out of the rat race and started 3rdLoop, to build what we never had the hours for.
Four products later, with more on the way, one rule still holds: the software does the routine work, and people keep the decisions that matter. It’s the rule we wished the systems in our old jobs had followed.

- Mission
- We build software that does the routine work, flags what’s uncertain or risky, records how each decision was made, and leaves the outcomes that matter with people.
